The Baptism Day

Nash is now 10 months old. On Sunday, September 26 he was baptised! It was a beautiful day to get together with the family. Afterwards, we celebrated in style at the Oktoberfest party at the Gasthaus cause we're all about class. Beer, polka, pony rides, beautiful weather... what more could you ask for.

goof-off's

Yesterday morning I walked into Brynn's room to find she had painted all over her face. It was obvious she was testing me and even said "But I'm testing the markers".. ya, you're testing all right. Look at that look on her face.

Nash is really helping out these days with the cooking.

Other than that, we're enjoying the last moments of summer. Out and about, lounging in the yard, goofing off as much as we can.

Stars and Stripes, Diap's and Wipes

Happy 4th of July Weekend! What a fantastic hot and humid weekend. As the rain parted on Sunday morning, the Birchwood parade began. Brynn experienced her 4th of July rite of passage by staying up late and watching the Stillwater Birthplace of MN show. She kept her hands on her face for 3 hours straight as the noise from the cannon's scared her silly - but she peered through her little fingers to watch "Tinkerbell fairies pixy dust" scatter the night sky. She stayed up the whole ride home chattering about how she's not afraid anymore.

Nash had fun with a sleepover at grampa and gramma's!

Weekend in a double wide

Plymouth, Wisconsin Summer Resort - it's camp for 2-7 year olds and 62 and above. We had a blast hangin at the ho-down, making "slithery" the snake from somebody's gramma's nylon socks, eating great meals, swimming, and enjoying old friends.

Summertime Kick-Off

It's Manitou Days in White Bear Lake and Brynn and Nash enjoyed their first Manitou Days Parade. Candy, marching bands, and kids galore! Some things never change.

Nash really isn't this serious all of the time.
